Museum of Republika Srpska has invited citizens to attend “European Museum Night 2026” on Saturday, May 23, with special attention this year focused on the appearance of the knightly group Order of the White Eagle, which will present medieval weapons, armor, and knightly combat to visitors.
From 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., an interactive museum program will be organized, allowing visitors to see and hold replicas of medieval weapons and equipment firsthand, while a live demonstration of knightly combat will take place at 6:00 p.m. on the plateau in front of the museum.
Organizers stated that the goal of the program is to bring history and knightly tradition closer to visitors, especially younger generations, through direct experience and live presentations of medieval culture.
In addition to the knightly program, the event will also include creative workshops for children, a museum treasure hunt, a concert by the City Tamburitza Orchestra, and a free photo booth.
All activities, as well as admission to the Museum of Republika Srpska, will be free of charge until 10:00 p.m.
