Football club Laktaši will reach a historic milestone on Wednesday when the team plays its first-ever home match under floodlights since the club was founded in 1958.
The occasion will be the 12th round of the Republika Srpska First League, with Laktaši hosting Kozara at 6:30 p.m. at the City Stadium.

“Everything is ready for this historic match. The installation of floodlights will allow us to schedule Republika Srpska First League and cup matches in the evening, giving supporters an opportunity to enjoy football in a different atmosphere,” said Laktaši director Igor Radeljić.
He emphasized that the new lighting system will also improve conditions for the players during their regular training sessions.
“That is why I invite all our fellow citizens to come to the City Stadium in Laktaši on Wednesday evening and witness this important moment. We have prepared numerous surprises for them,” Radeljić added.
