Promotion of the book “50 Personalities Who Marked Franco-Serb History” in Banja Luka

After Paris and the Republic of Serbia, we bring the promotion of the book “50 Personalities Who Marked Franco-Serbian History” to Banja Luka.

The association “European Roots,” with the support of the association “Roots Banja Luka,” presents a book born from the idea of French-Serb students united by a shared passion for the values and customs of our two countries and deep connections with European roots.

This Paris-based association is dedicated to promoting cultural, historical, and friendly ties between France and Serbia.

Franco-Serb friendship is based on a deep and rich relationship spanning seven centuries.

The book presents interesting facts about the lives and work of great scientists, artists, and diplomats, such as Nikola Tesla, Milutin Milanković, Isidora Sekulić, and other great figures from our people.

In addition to historical facts, the book captures the spirit of true friendship between the people of these two countries, which transcends time and borders.

The book is the result of extensive research by members of “European Roots,” and besides the version in French, it has now been translated into Serbian to bring it closer to the Serbian audience.

The first promotion of the book was held at the Cultural Center of Serbia in Paris on March 11th this year, marking the beginning of this initiative’s expansion beyond the borders of France.

In Republika Srpska, the promotion will take place in Banja Luka at the National University Library of Republika Srpska on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 7:00 PM, and in Doboj on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Adrenaline Park Tourist Center.
