Milorad Dodik has reiterated his firm opposition to BiH joining NATO, emphasizing that cooperation with the military alliance is acceptable, but membership is not an option.
Dodik stated that the question of BiH’s potential NATO membership had been settled long ago.
“Cooperation, yes. Membership, no,” Dodik wrote on the social media platform X.
He stressed that those who still fail to understand this position are wasting their time attempting to explain something that, in his view, is no longer open for discussion.
“For anyone who still has not understood: We will not join any military alliance, especially NATO, for well-known reasons,” Dodik emphasized.
His statement reaffirmed his opposition to NATO membership while maintaining that cooperation with the alliance remains possible.
