Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac met today in Bari with Italian Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida to discuss cooperation and future directions in the agricultural sector.
Košarac, who also serves as Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers, told SRNA that he and Minister Lollobrigida discussed the agricultural potentials of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH.
He explained that he will inform the relevant entity ministers in both Republika Srpska and the Federation about the details of the meeting, noting that agriculture falls under the primary constitutional jurisdiction of the entities.
“The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations has only a coordinating role at the international level,” Košarac stated.
He emphasized that Italy remains an important foreign trade partner for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Exhibition of Machinery, Plants, and Technologies for Agricultural and Livestock Production – “Agrilevante.”
