Snežana Ružičić is on an official visit to China, where she is participating in international gatherings focused on cooperation between cities and municipalities, with the aim of strengthening international ties and promoting Jezero.
The visit is divided into two parts. The first includes participation in a sister cities and municipalities conference in Shandong Province, one of China’s economically strongest provinces with around 100 million inhabitants.
The second part of the visit includes a stay in Zibo, home to Wengcang Lake, the sister community of Jezero Municipality, where Ružičić is scheduled to deliver an official address and present the municipality’s development potential.
According to Ružičić, the visit represents an important opportunity for international promotion and local development.
“Our goal is to position Jezero as an open and перспективе local community ready for partnerships with the world,” she stated.
During the visit, the delegation is taking part in events gathering representatives from dozens of countries, Chinese provincial and city officials, and business representatives, with a focus on international cooperation, investment and local development.
Ružičić emphasized that the visit could open opportunities for future projects in infrastructure, tourism, digitalization and economic cooperation, while also strengthening educational, cultural and youth exchanges with international partners.
