The documentary film “Vukovar, Silence Between the Monuments,” by author Vuk Damjanović, premiered before the Banja Luka audience.
The film explores the contemporary identity of Vukovar through depictions of space, memory and symbolism that have remained present for decades after the war, opening questions about attitudes toward the past and the way collective memory shapes the present.
Through a story about monuments, cemeteries and the culture of remembrance, the film seeks to shed light on the relationship of institutions toward suffering, memory and the identity of the Serb people.
