President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik will meet in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks are expected to cover current issues of strengthening partnership with Republika Srpska, challenges of post-conflict settlement in BiH, and the situation in the Western Balkans.
The Ministry stressed that Russia strongly condemns Western attempts to use dishonest methods to remove the President of Republika Srpska from the political scene, and that Moscow advocates returning the situation in BiH to a legal and democratic course.
“This requires the immediate closure of the Office of the High Representative, which has become the main source of problems in BiH, the restoration of direct dialogue among the parties within BiH, and an end to Western interference in the country’s internal affairs,” the statement added.
