Dodik and Dačić meet in Banja Luka

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik is scheduled to meet today in Banja Luka with Serbia’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić.

Dačić stated yesterday that the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is highly unstable, adding that the principled stance that Interpol must not be politicized was successfully upheld.

“The attempt by BiH to distribute an indictment through Interpol against President Dodik and National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić has failed,” said Dačić.

He emphasized that the request for the issuance of a red notice has been rejected and is now null and void, proving that Interpol respects the provisions of its constitution.

This high-level meeting in Banja Luka follows Interpol’s decision to deny the politically motivated request, marking a significant moment in the ongoing political and legal developments surrounding Republika Srpska’s leadership.
