A member of the “Trebišnjica” Fishing Club from Trebinje, Marko Mačkić, caught a nine-kilogram zander today at Bileća Lake.
Mačkić told Srna that this is one of the largest specimens caught with a rod in local waters.
“This is my personal record. The fish is 90 centimeters long and was released back into the water after being caught,” Mačkić stated.
He added that such specimens demonstrate the great potential of the waters of Bileća Lake and the Trebišnjica River.
