The largest production facility being built in Prijedor

The hall of the company Bosankar, covering 6,400 square meters, is the largest production facility currently under construction in the city of Prijedor.

This investment is backed by an Italian investor who already operates a facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina, specifically in Bosanska Krupa, reports biznisinfo.ba.

This new facility will provide a significant boost to the economy of Prijedor, stated Aleksandar Drljača, acting director of the Development Agency Preda.

  • “This is a job opportunity for a large number of people,” Drljača said, adding that the facility will employ between 150 and 200 workers, and it is the first in a series of halls that the company plans to build in the area.
  • “By the end of February or the beginning of March next year, the first workers will already be in the facility, and the machines are expected to start arriving gradually over the next month,” Drljača explained.

He expressed gratitude to the investor for continuing with the plans in Prijedor, despite the global crisis in the metal and metalworking industries, which has particularly affected Europe.

  • “Giuseppe Franchi is also a socially responsible person. He has announced the construction of a kindergarten with all accompanying amenities and theme parks within the factory, and this kindergarten will eventually be handed over to the city of Prijedor and will be available to all children, not just those of the factory employees,” Drljača added.

Bosankar’s owner, Giuseppe Franchi, reminded everyone that he founded the company 20 years ago in Bosanska Krupa with only nine employees. Today, the company has 170 workers, with plans for further expansion and development in Prijedor, where the current investment amounts to 10 million BAM.

Franchi invited those interested in employment to apply, emphasizing that three key positions are currently needed: production manager, quality control manager, and software manager.

  • “We are already open to start the selection process. These positions can be filled immediately, even though this hall is not yet operational. Later, we will begin hiring people in the mechanical sector, the metal industry, welders, fitters, and locksmiths,” Franchi added.
