Igokea suffered a defeat in their opening game of the FIBA Basketball Champions League, with Spanish side Bilbao claiming a 92–79 victory in Laktaši.
Igokea opened the game with six points from Lazar Stefanović to take a 6–2 lead, but Bilbao took control from that point and went on to secure a deserved victory.
Whenever Igokea managed to cut the deficit to single digits, the visitors responded and ultimately lived up to their status as favorites.
Bastien Vautier produced an excellent performance for the winners, scoring 19 points, while Lazar Stefanović led Igokea with 17.
