President Milorad Dodik said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s courageous and wise leadership in the fight against terrorism has earned Israel respect, wishing him victory in that fight and success in all areas of his career.
In a letter to Netanyahu, Dodik expressed Republika Srpska’s solidarity and sympathy with the people and institutions of Israel on the third anniversary of what he described as the horrific Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. He emphasized that Republika Srpska supports Israel’s right to defend itself and has consistently supported political initiatives and global efforts against terrorism.
Dodik stressed that Republika Srpska stands in full solidarity with the victims, survivors and all innocent families affected by the violence of October 7, 2023.
“I would like to take this opportunity, Mr. Prime Minister, to express my personal support and the support of Republika Srpska for your just struggle. Your courageous and wise leadership has earned Israel respect for its fight against terrorism, the scourge of our time. I wish Your Excellency victory and success in all aspects of your career and in this struggle,” Dodik said.
The Palace of the Republic in Banja Luka was illuminated last night in remembrance of the Israeli victims and as a sign of solidarity with the Israeli people, marking three years since the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an incursion and rocket attack on Israeli territory. Around 1,200 people were killed in Israel, while Hamas militants abducted more than 250 Israelis.
