Republika Srpska supports Israel’s right to defend itself, President Milorad Dodik said.
In a letter to Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana marking three years since the Hamas attack on Israel, Dodik said that Republika Srpska remembers with deep sympathy for the Israeli people the horrific terrorist attack of October 7, 2023, in which a large number of innocent people were killed.
Dodik noted that since October 7, 2023, Republika Srpska has supported Israel’s right to defend itself and has unequivocally condemned the brutal terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas against Israel that day.
“We stand in full solidarity with the victims, survivors and all innocent families affected by that violence,” Dodik said.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an incursion and rocket attack on Israeli territory. Around 1,200 people were killed in Israel, while Hamas militants abducted more than 250 Israelis.
