Acting director of the Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, Ana Trišić Babić, stated for RTRS that the recognition awarded to Milorad Dodik represents a significant moment for Republika Srpska and its citizens.
She described the event as emotional and emphasized that the award—granted by Judson University in Elgin, Illinois—acknowledges leadership, commitment to national sovereignty, and democratic principles.
According to Trišić Babić, although the recognition was presented personally to Dodik, it also symbolically reflects acknowledgment of Republika Srpska itself. She added that such international visibility contributes to broader awareness of political and social dynamics affecting the entity.
She also highlighted the role of institutional efforts in strengthening international connections, noting that the Office for International Cooperation aims to further position Republika Srpska globally and expand diplomatic and strategic engagement, particularly in the United States.
