Blagojevich: Dodik received a major recognition for courage and commitment to defend Serb rights

Former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich stated for RTRS that Milorad Dodik received a significant international award recognizing leadership and advocacy.

According to Blagojevich, the award titled “Fight for Democracy” was presented by Judson University, a Christian college in the U.S. state of Illinois. He emphasized that the recognition is awarded selectively and has previously been given to global political figures.

Blagojevich highlighted that the award acknowledges Dodik’s “courage, determination, and commitment to stand up and advocate for the rights of the Serb people,” adding that such recognition contributes to raising awareness in the United States about Republika Srpska and its political context.

He also underlined the importance of strengthening relations between Serbs and the United States, describing mutual cooperation as beneficial for both sides.
