A conference titled “Criminal prosecution as an instrument of historical revisionism – threats to freedom of thought and speech through rulings of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina” was held in Banja Luka.
The event was organized by Center for Socio-Political Research of Republika Srpska with support from the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska and the Ministry of Justice of Republika Srpska.
A large number of veterans of the Army of Republika Srpska also joined the speakers and participants. They were welcomed by Savo Minić.
Ahead of the conference, organizers stated that the history of Europe and the modern world shows that attitudes toward scientifically established facts and open research are among the key measures distinguishing free democratic systems from totalitarian orders.
The gathering focused on legal rulings, historical interpretation, and questions related to freedom of expression and public debate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
