The Embassy of BiH in Beijing hosted a cultural exchange event titled “Little Diplomat,” welcoming elementary school students from Qingdao in China’s Shandong Province, along with their teachers, for a day dedicated to cultural understanding and friendship between the two countries.
Through discussions, presentations and cultural performances, the young visitors had the opportunity to learn about BiH, its traditions, cultural heritage and everyday life.
Ambassador Berjan introduces BiH to Chinese students
BiH Ambassador to China Siniša Berjan welcomed the students and delivered an interactive presentation highlighting the country’s history, cultural heritage, natural attractions and traditional cuisine.
“The students showed particular interest in the lives of their peers in BiH, asking questions about education, language, food and national holidays,” Berjan said.
The program also featured performances by Chinese students, who spoke about the friendship between BiH and China and performed traditional songs.
“Their curiosity and enthusiasm contributed to a warm and cheerful atmosphere. The gathering concluded with sweet treats prepared by the Embassy for our young guests,” the ambassador added.
Strengthening friendship through cultural exchange
The “Little Diplomat” event forms part of the BiH Embassy’s ongoing efforts to promote the country and strengthen cultural relations with China.
Such initiatives provide children with opportunities to discover different cultures from an early age, encouraging mutual understanding, respect and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
The Embassy emphasized that cultural exchanges involving young people play an important role in building lasting connections and bringing communities closer together.
“The Embassy of BiH will continue organizing activities that connect young people and introduce them to the cultural richness and traditions of BiH,” the Embassy announced in Beijing.
