President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan extended Easter greetings to His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, as well as to metropolitans, bishops, clergy, monastics, and all Orthodox believers.
“On the occasion of the upcoming Easter, I extend my sincere greetings and wishes that you celebrate this greatest Christian holiday in peace, joy, and good health, honoring the traditions of our people,” Karan said.
He emphasized that the Resurrection reminds us of the fundamental values and truths of the Serb people—that love overcomes hatred, that light always prevails over darkness, and that life triumphs over death.
“These festive days strengthen us in faith, justice, truth, and family values, which are the foundation of the Serb people’s tradition. I wish you to celebrate Easter in peace, joy, and prosperity, surrounded by your loved ones, with faith in the strength of life and the victory of good. Christ is risen—Indeed He is risen,” Karan stated in his message.
