President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan extended his congratulations to all Jews and Jewish communities in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of Purim, expressing hope that the spirit of this great holiday will remind them of the power of unity, courage in the face of challenges, and the light that always overcomes darkness.
“On the occasion of Purim, a holiday of joy, hope, and unwavering faith, a symbol of the struggle for freedom, dignity, and the survival of the Jewish people, I extend my most sincere congratulations,” Karan stated.
The President of Republika Srpska wished that all Jews celebrate the holiday in good health, spiritual peace, and joy, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
The Jewish holiday of Purim is celebrated in remembrance of the deliverance of the Jewish people from annihilation during their captivity in Persia. This year’s observance began yesterday and concludes today.
