As part of marking International Mother Language Day and six decades of cultural work by Fadil Pelesić, a “Poetry Evening” was organized in Derventa.
It was emphasized that language is the only way to express emotions found in the verses of great poets.
“At the same time, we are marking 25 years of work of the International Multireligious, Intercultural Center in Derventa. Through our most important events, Derventsko srce and the Evening of Sacred Music, we have connected many people and citizens. In that way, we have justified the epithet of Derventa as a cultural center,” Pelesić said.
The director of the “Branko Radičević” National Library, Vesna Šain, pointed out that the institution is always open to creators, artists, and all those who contribute to the city’s cultural scene.
“These people enhance our cultural life and contribute to the development of culture, art, poetry, prose, the written word, and everything that enriches our city,” Šain emphasized.
