Security expert Dževad Galijašević told Srna that the Ambassador of BiH to the UN in Geneva, Bojan Vujić, has articulately described the situation in BiH in relation to the terrorist threat during the session of the UN Human Rights Council.
“Support for Ambassador Vujić’s presentation. It was a principled and good voice that finally speaks of the real threat in BiH,” said Galijašević, emphasizing that from a terrorism standpoint, there is no greater security problem than BiH.
He stated that BiH’s connections with international terrorist organizations participated in creating so-called mujahideen units “El Mujahideen,” “Zubeyr’s group,” “Algerian group,” “Egyptian group,” the group from Rubéa of French legionnaires, indicating a deep entanglement with “Muslim Brotherhood,” a movement that also participated in creating the 13th SS Division “Handžar” in 1943.
Galijašević pointed out that the main people of the “El Mujahideen” unit were participants in the attacks on the United States, but also involved in certain trainings and the attack on the train station in Spain, the metro in Madrid, and “Charlie Hebdo” in Paris with weapons and logistics.
According to him, the leaders of those mujahideen remained in BiH.
“The main ideologist of the ‘El Mujahideen’ unit, Sheikh Imad al Misri, who here has the name Ragala Islam Durmo, is a citizen of BiH and is married here,” said Galijašević, noting that this man wrote the “primer of Wahhabism” during the war in 1993 in Travnik, that is, the textbook of Wahhabism “Conceptions that we need to change.”
Galijašević emphasized that they came to BiH to change conceptions, explaining that Imad al Misri was already convicted of terrorism and the murder of Western tourists in the ancient city of Luxor in Egypt, where he served less than nine years in prison.
“Besides him, the main security officer of the ‘El Mujahideen’ unit, Ayman Abdulrahman Awad, lives among us and has BiH citizenship, while the last leader of the mujahideen community, Abu Hamza Imad al Husin, lives in BiH, where he has started a family,” he said.
Galijašević believes that this precisely brought BiH to the top of the terrorism pyramid, that is, the top source of terrorist threat.
“This is constantly highlighted in the reports of regional security services. The Croatian Security Intelligence Agency constantly deals with it, and very often, the Security Information Agency in Serbia publishes something about it. Every year, the United States includes BiH in its annual report on terrorist threat,” said Galijašević.
He noted that Interpol and Europol deal with online propaganda, recalling a large operation carried out by Europol when 365 websites spreading terrorist propaganda were discovered, as well as TV stations and YouTube channels full of Wahhabi preachers.
“Behind this is a political factor. Unfortunately, it entered the state institutions without a filter. This Islamist element has occupied the security-defense and judicial structures, while the West has quietly observed,” he clarified.
He reminded that AID as Alija Izetbegović’s secret police was banned for participating in organizing the attacks on the US on September 11, 2001, and dissolved within six months after that terrorist attack and integrated with the Croatian service into the joint Federal Intelligence Service, and after three years into the Intelligence-Security Agency.
“Although AID did it, its officers did not go through filters. Today, many officers are in the judiciary, like Sena Uzunović, who was an assistant commander in a brigade near Konjic, and today she judges President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. Like many other judges, the fact is that Islamists have occupied the institutions of BiH,” Galijašević believes.
He added that SDA managed to spread this line of attack on the state and led to the fact that this party and mujahideen carried out the most terrible genocide against BiH’s culture and its European foundations, and tradition in this country.
Galijašević stressed that it was good that Ambassador Vujić drew attention to terrorism.
“There has not been a single serious action that would reduce the terrorist threat in BiH, although all terrorist actions in the world had carriers from BiH,” said Galijašević.
He stated that there were several dozen terrorist actions in BiH, that more than 500 jihadists went from this country to Syria, and that today more than 150 citizens of BiH are directly in Idlib under
the command of Nusra Front.
“Taking everything into account, no serious investigation or confrontation with the terrorist threat in BiH was carried out, and the European path is actually most endangered from the place where SDA imposed Islamist policy and created Islamist structures,” he said.
He added that it was on these Islamist structures that a terrorist network was built and the organized spreading of fear throughout BiH and the world, simultaneously controlling important intelligence-security and judicial structures.
“Judges, prosecutors, and all military prosecutors of the so-called Army of BiH are today sitting in the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, conducting political and religious violence, various forms of pressure on the state, making it ineffective and non-European,” concluded Galijašević.
In Geneva, from February 26 to April 5, the 55th regular session of the UN Human Rights Council is held, and as part of the dialogue on protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms in counter-terrorism, Vujić spoke, who pointed out that, even as BiH works towards joining the EU, Western governments have noticed that it remains a key source of terrorist threats.
