“Due to the rulings of the European Court of Human Rights in the cases ‘Sejdić–Finci,’ ‘Pilav,’ and now ‘Begic v. Bosnia and Herzegovina,’ it can clearly be concluded that a Bosnia and Herzegovina that is both European and peaceful is possible only as a union of three states—the existing Republika Srpska and two new states that would emerge on the territory of today’s Federation of BiH,” lawyer Ognjen Tadić stated today.
“Tadić said that these three states, united in a federation, would have their delegated representatives in joint institutions, while internally making no distinctions regarding the political rights of citizens.”
“‘That would mark the end of the issues raised by the European Court of Human Rights and the end of threats to peace coming from the Federation of BiH,’ Tadić wrote on X.”
