On a hillside just outside Derventa, surrounded by deciduous and evergreen forest and featuring a hotel, bungalows, and a top-tier restaurant, stands the “Babino Brdo” tourist complex — named after the once-famous Derventa motel.
Only three kilometres from the town centre, the hill offers a beautiful panoramic view of all of Derventa.
The complex has made a major step forward in its operations and now proudly holds a four-star hotel rating, the result of years of effort and investment in service quality.
Hotel “Babino Brdo” now offers significantly enhanced accommodation capacity. It has a total of 24 beds, including two spacious family apartments, double rooms, and four modernly equipped bungalows.
Recently, two luxury apartments with jacuzzis were built, combining a modern interior with the traditional exterior of an old-style house known as a kijera.
Guests have access to numerous additional amenities, such as room service and a minibar in every room, bicycle rentals, table tennis and other social games, printing and scanning options, a laptop available in the lobby for business guests, and covered parking spaces.
Looking ahead, special focus will be placed on further developing the hotel restaurant, which will continue to offer top-quality culinary specialties. During winter, guests can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace along with traditional local dishes.
