At the meeting between President Milorad Dodik and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Minsk, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the partnership ties between Republika Srpska and Russia, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
The meeting emphasized support for the Dayton Peace Agreement as the only foundation for peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans.
During the talks, held on the sidelines of the Third Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, Dodik and Lavrov exchanged detailed views on the implementation of the Dayton Agreement in the context of the ongoing internal political crisis in BiH.
