The Serb member and Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, and the newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand to BiH, based in Budapest, Phromes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, expressed readiness to intensify political relations and enhance cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, tourism and investment through the competent institutions at all levels of government.
Cvijanović received the letters of credence from the newly appointed Thai ambassador today and extended a warm welcome, assessing the bilateral relations as friendly and positive, according to the statement from the Presidency of BiH.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the existing cooperation and expressed their commitment to further developing friendly and bilateral ties. Despite the geographical distance, the two countries maintain a relationship based on mutual respect and understanding.
The Thai ambassador expressed his willingness to cooperate with all levels and all sides in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to strengthen overall relations, particularly in the tourism and production sectors, for mutual benefit.
The Serb member and Chairwoman of the Presidency of BiH wished the Thai ambassador a successful diplomatic mission, expressing confidence that his engagement would contribute to strengthening the ties between the two friendly countries, the statement concluded.
