The third stage of the 19th International Belgrade–Banja Luka Cycling Race has officially started from Bratunac.
A large number of Bratunac residents gathered to see off the cyclists on their way to Vlasenica, the finish line of today’s stage.
A total of 175 competitors from 30 countries, organized into 25 teams, are participating in this year’s race.
After the first two stages, Serbian cyclist Dušan Rajović, a member of the Serbian national team, is currently leading the overall standings.
The fourth and final stage will take place tomorrow, covering a distance of 130 kilometers from Doboj to Banja Luka.
Due to the race, there will be temporary traffic closures between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. along the following routes: the Rudanka–Doboj section of the main road, the “9th January” highway on the Kostajnica–Jakupovci stretch, and the Klašnice–Banja Luka section, including Trive Amelice Street.
