The head of the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Vienna, Mladen Filipović, stated that the voice of Republika Srpska is clearly heard in Austria and that decision-makers in the country are objectively informed about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- “We have friends, we have partners, and even those who may not share our views, but all of them have access to accurate information and can respond appropriately. We are actively working to ensure that the voice of Republika Srpska is heard, that the objective situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is known, and that Austria has a realistic political perspective, which is very important for us,” Filipović said in an SRNA podcast.
Speaking about the economy, Filipović emphasized that Republika Srpska has significant export potential, with its products recognized for their quality and affordability. He highlighted that the government’s tax policies have shown positive results and attracted investors.
- “Austria is a great friend of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has been one of the largest investors over the past 20 years. We even have a trade surplus with Austria, with more than 250 Austrian companies already operating in our region,” Filipović pointed out.
He announced new investments from Austria in Republika Srpska and discussed the activities of the diaspora and the role of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
