Visits by our officials to world statesmen and the forum in Antalya have shattered the myth of Republika Srpska’s isolation, said political scientist Vojislav Savić, appearing on the Morning Program of RTRS.
“We and Serbia must be cautious with Turkey, as it is a major global player, but also seek the best possible cooperation. It’s clear that Turkey, as a serious player, knows who the key figure in the Balkans is, namely that no path to any agreement in the Balkans can be found without Serbia and the Serbs as a whole,” emphasized Savić.
He repeated that Republika Srpska should form partnerships where a hand is extended, and Turkey is certainly one such case.
Savić believes that Denis Bećirović lacks the capacity to perform such a responsible function.
“The great tragedy of the Bosniaks is that someone who, under normal conditions, could not be the president of a local community, sits in the Presidency of BiH. He received a large number of votes due to his turn against the SDA, but it’s clear that he builds his policy solely on hatred towards Serbs. Bećirović’s activities do not deserve any respect. Sarajevo must understand that without Banja Luka and Mostar, there can be no agreement in BiH,” stressed Savić.
