Whatever the Murphy-Schmidt axis powers do is illegal because they are not part of the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and illegitimate because their actions are dragging Bosnia back into the past, from which we emerged through serious and difficult reforms aimed at affirming domestic democratic and constitutional institutions, wrote legal expert Ognjen Tadić on his X account.
“That is why the responses of Republika Srpska, in the form of its new Election Law, which was meant to preserve the democratic character of institutions at least in Srpska, given that it was already undermined in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by imposed constitutional changes for a day, and the protection of the institution of the President of Srpska and the Official Gazette from unconstitutional judicial prosecution, are completely legitimate and legal,” emphasized Tadić.
