The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that the declaration by the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, claiming he will visit and acknowledges only Bosnia and Herzegovina, without its entities, is an insult to Republika Srpska and a denial of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Dodik mentioned that he had visited the Montenegrin Assembly and met with its President, Andrija Mandić, and that he is not familiar with the internal communication of the governing structures in Montenegro, nor did he expect to be invited by Milatović, nor to meet with him.
“We will see how it goes when he comes to Sarajevo. Perhaps we might allow him to meet only with Muslims, but that then is not Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Dodik stated on social media X.
Dodik expressed hope that in the coming period, forces that will return Montenegro to an alliance with Serbia and to unity with the Serb people will strengthen.
