Dialogue, mutual respect and cooperation remain important for preserving peace, stability and improving relations, Deputy Minister of Defence in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović said after attending a reception at the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo marking 250 years since the proclamation of American independence.
Goganović said he attended the reception at the invitation of John Ginkel, Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Events like this provide an opportunity for talks and the exchange of views with representatives of the diplomatic corps and international partners,” Goganović wrote on X.
Among those attending the reception were Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović, Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić, several ministers in the Republika Srpska Government, and SNSD organisational secretary Igor Dodik.
