The festival of Italian culture “Insieme” is a manifestation that, on the initiative of the Association of Italians Banja Luka, will be held for the fourth time in our city from February 13 to 15. In a co-production of the National Theater of the Republika Srpska and the Association of Italians Banja Luka, on Tuesday, February 13, starting at 8:00 p.m., a concert titled “Puchini – beginning and end” will be held on the Big Stage.
The concert on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the great composer’s death will be performed by the Chamber Orchestra of the National Theater of Republika Srpska and soloists: Albina Smajlović Tomić (soprano), Ivana Milinčić (soprano), Mladen Prodan (tenor) and Aleksandar Dragojević (baritone), conducted by Dušan V . Urosevic.
The program will include arias from the famous operas “The Barber of Siberia” by Gioachino Rossini and “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi, as well as Puccini’s arias from the operas “Edgar”, “Tosca”, “The Girl from the West” and “Bohemia”.
