Miloš Kojadinović: From a childhood dream to the recognizable La Finito Barber brand

Men’s grooming today is about much more than a simple haircut. A stylish hairstyle, a well-groomed beard and a distinctive personal look have become part of the modern man’s everyday life. Combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary trends, Miloš Kojadinović, owner of La Finito Barber in Banja Luka, is building a business shaped by years of experience, professional development and the ambition to turn a childhood dream into a recognizable local brand.

Kojadinović spoke to Srpska365 about his beginnings, the challenges of entrepreneurship, men’s style and his plans for the future.

When did your passion for barbering begin, and did you always know what you wanted to do?

I knew I wanted to become a barber while I was still in elementary school. While many of my classmates kept changing their plans, I already had a clear vision of my future. That is why enrolling in a hairdressing school in Banja Luka was a natural step for me.

After graduating, I spent years working, learning and improving my skills. From the very beginning, I dreamed of creating something of my own one day.

How did the idea for La Finito Barber come about, and what did you want to bring to Banja Luka?

I wanted to create a place with its own identity. Not just a barbershop where people come for a haircut, but a space where they feel comfortable and know they can expect quality.

La Finito was conceived as a combination of professionalism, modern style and a welcoming atmosphere. My goal is for the name to become a recognizable brand over time.

How much has men’s attitude toward appearance and grooming changed?

A lot. In the past, most men simply wanted short, neat hair. Today, they follow trends, take care of their beards and know exactly what kind of hairstyle they want.

Social media has contributed significantly to that change. However, I believe the most important thing is not to follow every trend, but to find a style that suits your face, personality and lifestyle.

In your opinion, what is the secret to a great haircut and a satisfied client?

A good haircut has to suit the person wearing it. That is why listening to clients, understanding their wishes and offering professional advice when necessary are so important.

I pay special attention to details because they are what make the difference. The greatest satisfaction comes when a client returns, because that is the best confirmation of quality and trust.

Competition in the barbering industry is growing. What does it take for a barbershop to stand out?

Above all, quality and consistency. You can have a beautiful interior, good marketing and a recognizable name, but if the quality of your work does not match, none of that will last.

A professional approach, a pleasant atmosphere and continuous improvement are equally important. I believe a genuine brand is not built overnight, but through years of dedicated work.

How difficult is it to start your own business, and what advice would you give young people with similar ambitions?

Every beginning involves certain risks and a great deal of responsibility. It takes patience, sacrifice and a willingness to learn something new every day.

My advice to young people is not to give up on their ideas too easily, but also to understand that success does not happen on its own.

If you love what you do and are prepared to put in the effort, you already have a strong foundation for the future.

What are your plans, and where do you see La Finito Barber in the coming years?

My ambition is for La Finito to become a recognizable name, not only in Banja Luka but beyond.

I want us to continue improving the quality of our services, keeping up with modern trends and developing a brand that people associate with professionalism and great style.

For me, La Finito is not just a business. It is the realization of a childhood dream. I believe the best is yet to come.

From a boy who knew what he wanted to become while still in elementary school to an entrepreneur building his own brand, Miloš Kojadinović’s story highlights the importance of perseverance, hard work and passion for one’s profession.

Trends may come and go, but true craftsmanship and the trust of clients remain the foundation of lasting success.
