Špajz Fest in Čelinac celebrates homemade products, traditional food and local craftsmanship

The town of Čelinac will host Špajz Fest on October 18, bringing together local producers, artisans and visitors for a celebration of traditional food, homemade products and rural heritage.

Organized by the Čelinac Center for Sports and Culture, the festival will take place along the town’s main pedestrian promenade from noon until 8 p.m.

According to the organizers, this year’s event promises much more than a traditional exhibition and marketplace, offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy authentic regional flavors, freshly prepared food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Families with children will also have the chance to meet farm animals, making the festival an enjoyable experience for younger visitors.

Traditional food, homemade specialties and handicrafts

Špajz Fest will feature a diverse selection of products from local farms, family households and small businesses.

Visitors will be able to discover traditional winter preserves, heirloom seed varieties, homemade food products, natural cosmetics, traditional crafts and handmade goods.

The festival will also highlight the importance of preserving traditional agricultural practices and supporting small-scale producers.

A celebration of local flavors and rural traditions

Beyond the exhibition stands, visitors can look forward to freshly prepared traditional dishes, including specialties cooked in large outdoor cauldrons.

The event aims to connect producers directly with consumers while encouraging appreciation for locally sourced food and traditional craftsmanship.

Organizers have invited residents and visitors to support domestic producers, discover the flavors of regional cuisine and spend a pleasant afternoon enjoying the atmosphere of Čelinac.

With its combination of traditional food, handmade products and family-friendly activities, Špajz Fest offers an opportunity to experience the region’s rural heritage and culinary traditions in one place.
