Republika Srpska Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić visited the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Moscow, where he met with its head, Duško Perović, to discuss strengthening relations with the Russian Federation and expanding bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Đokić emphasized the important role of the Representative Office in maintaining and developing traditionally strong relations between Republika Srpska and Russia.
He noted that the office serves as a vital link between institutions, businesses and the people of Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation.
Focus on energy, gas and mining cooperation
Đokić thanked Perović and the Representative Office staff for their continued dedication and efforts to strengthen political, economic and other forms of cooperation, as well as for promoting Republika Srpska and its interests in Russia.
The discussions highlighted the importance of preserving close relations while identifying new opportunities for joint initiatives.
Particular attention was given to cooperation in the energy sector, natural gas industry and mining, where both sides see opportunities for developing concrete projects.
The Representative Office’s activities were described as an important contribution to creating favorable conditions for future cooperation between institutions and business partners.
Perović: Every new contact creates an opportunity for cooperation
Duško Perović emphasized that the Representative Office remains firmly committed to strengthening relations with the Russian Federation and promoting Republika Srpska’s interests.
He explained that the office seeks to transform every opportunity into practical cooperation, bringing people together and supporting the implementation of joint projects.
Perović noted that much of the office’s work takes place away from public attention, but that every meeting, newly established contact and facilitated agreement represents another step toward building stronger ties of cooperation and friendship.
He reaffirmed that the Representative Office would continue making every effort to ensure that Republika Srpska maintains a reliable friend and partner in Russia.
According to Perović, the ultimate goal is to translate the close ties between the two peoples into tangible results that benefit Republika Srpska and its citizens.
