FK Majevica recorded its first home victory of the season in the Republika Srpska First League, defeating FK Famos from Vojkovići, Istočna Ilidža, 4–2 in Lopare in the fifth round of the competition.
“We controlled the game for most of the match and managed to secure an important victory that keeps us among the teams in the upper part of the table, despite having played one match fewer,” said Majevica player-coach Nebojša Gavrić.
Gavrić emphasized that the team has been improving from match to match and said he was particularly pleased with its attacking efficiency.
Majevica scored a total of eight goals across its last two matches, against Zvijezda 09 in the previous round and Famos in the latest fixture.
Mirko Vuković scored for the home side in the first half, while Marko Bardak, Vuk Tešić and Uroš Stević found the net in the second half to seal Majevica’s 4–2 victory.
