At the invitation of U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, representatives of Republika Srpska attended a reception marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, Ana Trišić Babić, acting director of the Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, said.
Trišić Babić emphasized that the U.S. Embassy in Israel is one of the most important centers of American diplomacy in the world and that Ambassador Huckabee holds a particularly significant position within the U.S. global diplomatic framework.
“That is why this reception is more than just a ceremony. It is a place where friends, partners, and those who understand the importance of freedom, sovereignty, and international dialogue come together. The presence of Republika Srpska at such an event speaks of respect, open doors, and a willingness to build relations with the United States in a serious, dignified, and responsible manner,” Trišić Babić wrote on X.
She also expressed gratitude to Ambassador Huckabee for the invitation.
“Republika Srpska remains committed to constructive dialogue and strengthening relations with the United States,” Trišić Babić said.
