Excellent news has arrived from the Balkan Judo Championships in Tirana, where competitors from the Judo Association of the Republic of Srpska, representing the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, won two silver medals.
Una Milić and Danijela Kajtazović both reached the podium with impressive performances.
Competing in the women’s under-70 kg category, Una Milić of JK Zvijezda Banja Luka claimed silver after recording two victories. She defeated Greece’s Alexandra Papagiannaki and Albania’s Arba Hasanaj before losing in the final to Adrijana Šutović of Montenegro.
Another silver medal was won by Danijela Kajtazović of JK Sokolovi Zvornik, who also advanced to the final. She finished as runner-up after being defeated by Elvira Ukaj, representing Kosovo.
