It was a great honour for me to host in Banja Luka the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE, Mr. Dmitry Polyanskiy, and to discuss issues of importance to Republika Srpska, the region and international relations, SNSD President Milorad Dodik stated.
“His visit represents yet another confirmation of the strong friendly ties and mutual respect that Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation have traditionally nurtured. During our meeting, we exchanged views on current political issues, the position of Republika Srpska and the challenges it faces,” Dodik wrote on X.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska highly values the principled position of the Russian Federation in international institutions.
“As well as the fact that Russia has always been a voice for respect for international law, the Dayton Peace Agreement and the rights of the Serb people in the United Nations Security Council.
We will always value friends who stood by Republika Srpska when it mattered most. I am convinced that this visit will also contribute to the further strengthening of our relations to the mutual satisfaction of both sides,” Dodik stated.
