Since March this year, Prijedor has had a new motorcycle club whose very name carries strong emotion, friendship and a memory that does not fade.
Motorcycle Club “Moka” was founded in honour of the late Vladimir Stanisavljević, known among friends as Vlado Moka, a man who, according to his fellow riders, left an indelible mark among Prijedor bikers.
The idea of founding the club was born last year, and in March 2026 the club was officially registered in Republika Srpska.
Club president Srđan Pjevač said the goal was for Prijedor to finally have a serious and organized motorcycle club, created from years of friendship and a shared love of motorcycles and travel.
“The club is named ‘Moka’ after our late friend Vladimir Stanisavljević, whom we all called Vlado Moka. We decided on that back in 2025. We had never been members of other clubs, but for years, as one compact motorcycle group, we attended biker gatherings across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. We wanted Prijedor to finally have a real motorcycle club,” Pjevač said.
Motorcycle Club “Moka” currently has 27 members, and in addition to Prijedor, it also has a branch in Laktaši with five members. What connects them most, they say, is friendship, mutual respect and a shared spirit that existed long before the club was officially registered.
The club marked its first organized gathering in a symbolic and emotional way.
Yesterday, members rode a pilgrimage route to the Donja Gradina Memorial Centre, where they paid tribute to innocent victims of the Second World War. Before that, they laid wreaths at the grave of Vlado Moka.
Club vice-president Vjekoslav Bašić said “Moka” wants to be much more than an ordinary motorcycle club.
“The motto of our club is the promotion of motorcycling, sport, socializing and friendship. We have clear goals because Prijedor is a city of motorcycles. As early as next year, we plan to organize the first real motorcycle gathering in our city and we want to restore Prijedor’s former reputation when it comes to biker meetings. Our goal is to gather the largest number of bikers ever assembled in Prijedor. Everyone with sincere intentions who wants to be part of our story is welcome,” Bašić said.
With the founding of Motorcycle Club “Moka,” Prijedor has gained a new biker story built on friendship, respect and the memory of a man whose name now continues to live through the sound of engines and the kilometres his friends travel together.
