President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan stated that by participating in the parade in Moscow, Republika Srpska has reaffirmed its historical, present, and future friendly relations with the Russian people and the Russian Federation.
- We have just arrived at the reception following the magnificent parade. Great respect has been shown to us here. This is a demonstration and a contribution to the idea of historical memory. At a time when we are witnessing attempts to revise history, this is an event that pays tribute to those who gave their lives for freedom – Karan said.
He expressed great honor at being in Moscow.
- Our leadership today demonstrated the historical, present, and future friendly relationship with the Russian people – Karan added.
Karan is leading the delegation of Republika Srpska, which includes the President of the National Assembly Nenad Stevandić and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, who attended the Victory Parade in Moscow, as well as the official reception hosted by Vladimir Putin.
