The premiere of the play Martin udio, based on the novel and dramatized by Sanja Savić Milosavljević, directed by Nikola Bundalo, will be held today on the Main Stage of National Theatre of Republika Srpska.
Martin udio brings a story of life, suffering, love and perseverance — told through tears and laughter, just as life truly is.
It is a complex structure that follows characters through three parallel storylines, portraying people we recognize in our own families. The journey leads from Lika and Pale, through Zagreb and Vienna, all the way to Belgrade, covering a span of eight decades.
The title role is performed by Nataša Perić. The cast also includes Jovo Maksić, Smiljana Marinković, Aleksandar Stojković, Nikolina Friganović, Nataša Ivančević / Slađana Zrnić, Ana Vinčić, Miljka Brđanin, Tara Jovanić, Anđela Tasić, Senad Milanović, Danilo Kerkez, Anando Čenić and Nataša Ostojić.
The first and second repeat performances will be staged on April 21 and April 28.
