The second Municipal Festival of Cheerful Notes and Verses “On the Wings of a Song” was held at the “Petar Kočić” Cultural Center in Mrkonjić Grad.
The Grand Prix of the festival was awarded to Dunja Lekić for the song “Blue Star.”
The festival featured 16 compositions performed by 21 participants.
Children aged 5 to 11 performed songs dedicated to friendship, love, their first teacher, the sky, stars, and more.
- “I have been a member of the Little Prince choir for two years. I sang the song ‘Blue Star.’ Winning the Grand Prix is a significant award for me. I hope to continue winning awards and singing like this,” said Dunja Lekić, the recipient of the festival’s Grand Prix.
The festival was organized by the City Children’s Choir “Little Prince,” with the support of the “Petar Kočić” Cultural Center and under the patronage of the municipality.
- “Tonight, the star of the festival was the song ‘Blue Star,’ written by Marija Stoši Hjnel, which won the Grand Prix. The award for best interpretation was given to the duet Dražena Mraković and Asenije Kežić, along with soloist Ivana Miletić,” highlighted Milijana Protić, artistic director of the City Children’s Choir “Little Prince.”
