The “Una Regatta: Sailing Down the Una” concluded with participants arriving at the Ada city beach in Novi Grad. This year, the event saw a record turnout of around 800 participants.
The “Una Siren” award was given to Biljana Ćulibrk, while “Una Neptune” went to Milovan Blagojević. The “Programmers” team was recognized as the most enduring, and “Una Cove” as the most cheerful team.
Director of the Tourist Organization of Novi Grad, Nebojša Todić, mentioned that there were more than 80 boats on the water and that the event went smoothly.
Todić highlighted that participants came from Republika Srpska, the Federation of BiH, Serbia, Croatia, and other neighboring countries.
The mayor of the municipality, Miroslav Drljača, stated that the regatta in Novi Grad marks the conclusion of “Petrovdanski dani,” a series of events organized to celebrate Petrovdan, the Day of the Municipality.
- This year, our citizens and numerous guests enjoyed cultural, sports, and entertainment activities – said Drljača.
