Dodik: Revoke Šmit’s Decisions within Seven Days

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated today that he will propose the annulment of decisions made by Christian Šmit.

“I propose that we attempt to relax the situation in BiH in the following way – that all decisions of the false Šmit made by the colonial administration be revoked within seven days. If this is not done, our representatives should schedule a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and have that assembly declare Šmit’s decisions invalid and null, prohibit the application of those decisions to BiH institutions, declare the OHR website unacceptable and unlawful for publishing acts, and prohibit the Official Gazette of BiH from publishing acts of foreigners and their organizations,” Dodik said in his address at a special session of the National Assembly.

He stated that he will propose the adoption of the BiH Election Law with all technical improvements at the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, which would be applied immediately in the elections, and that the Central Election Commission (CEC) should be stripped of its functions as, he says, it is a para-state institution and organization and reduced to what that commission truly is.

“I will propose that the BiH Parliamentary Assembly confirms, by a special act, the constitutional provision that decisions for the BiH level can only be made in this assembly, and that a fast track for EU approximation be established with clear indications of what needs to be done,” Dodik said.

He announced that it will be proposed to adopt a declaration confirming the territorial integrity of BiH and the political system envisaged by the Constitution, and that this will send a message of the desire for rapid stabilization.

“At this session, the US Ambassador Michael Murphy, the British Ambassador, Šmit, and the German Ambassador should be declared enemies of BiH, their actions prohibited, and they should be expelled from BiH,” Dodik said.

He emphasized that if this does not happen, he will propose that Republika Srpska immediately suspend its participation until the end and not return to the decision-making system in BiH.

“I will also propose that we substantively and formally terminate partnerships with the parties with whom we are currently partnered at the BiH level and offer to make a certain agreement with other structures among the Bosniaks, such as the SDA, to usher in a new era,” Dodik said.
