Today, Srpska Swims

At 6 p.m. today, the socially responsible project “Swim, Srpska” will be officially launched at the City Olympic Pool in Banja Luka. The project aims to provide children from Banja Luka and the surrounding area with free basic training in swimming and water polo.

Initiated by Tamara Dobraš, the project is being carried out with strong support from the Office of the President of Republika Srpska. The mini camp will be held under the guidance of renowned water polo player Nikola Rađen.

“When we know that more than two-thirds of children don’t know how to swim, it becomes clear just how important this project is. ‘Swim, Srpska’ is not just a call to sports—it’s a call to responsibility. We want every child to have the opportunity to learn this essential life skill, to build confidence, and to develop healthy habits. Our goal is to make swimming accessible to everyone, regardless of their social or economic background,” said Dobraš.

Media statements are scheduled immediately following the opening ceremony.
