Today, the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, emphasized that successful discussions were held with a large number of significant politicians at the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, proving that Republika Srpska is recognized as an important interlocutor in political processes in the region, as well as globally.
“Our interlocutors understand the position of Republika Srpska and have an understanding of our stance that we are for the European path, but it is clear that the constitutional structure of BiH, which is composed of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, must be seen,” Dodik posted on X.
Dodik mentioned that the leadership of Republika Srpska is not ready to follow the European path if it means diminishing the strength of Republika Srpska.
“In Antalya, we spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto. We also had discussions with Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar, as well as with the EU’s Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak,” Dodik reminded.
The Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, which started on Friday, March 1st, concludes today.
