Banja Luka Airport plans to increase the number of passengers by 10% this year and surpass 500,000 passengers (they had 460,731 passengers in 2023).
According to Natalija Trivić, the director of the airport in Mahovljani, Banja Luka will have charter flights to Barcelona, Crete, and Rhodes starting in April.
These arrangements have already been made.
At the same time, all charters from last year remain operational, except for the Tivat-Banja Luka route, which has been discontinued.
The airport has completed work on a new parking lot, significantly increasing the number of parking spaces, which was a significant issue.
Before the summer season, the opening of duty-free shops is planned, which should noticeably increase revenues.
