“Montenegrin Power Exchange (MEPX) announced that Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) Trebinje has become the twenty-second member of its market and the fifteenth foreign member.
Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske, one of the three major power companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, consists of 11 subsidiaries and the parent company.
ERS’s total installed capacity, comprising hydro and thermal power plants, amounts to 1348 MW, with an average annual electricity production of around 5000 GWh.
ERS MH exports approximately 25% of its total annual electricity production to neighboring countries and aims to ensure system stability and development through integration into the European power system, as reported by Indikator.ba.
The Montenegrin Power Exchange was established by CGES, COTEE, and EPCG with the intention of establishing a wholesale organized electricity market in the form of an electronic trading platform.”
